    I just saw that SpaceX flew a recovered first stage booster successfully and stuck the landing on the drone ship. Very cool stuff I think.

    I think they've done it a few times now, and they've had some failures too, but yeah- totally cool stuff.

    I'm not a Musk fan, but he reminds me of one of Heinlein's characters: DD Harriman in "The Man Who Sold The Moon". (1949)

    DD was obsessed with being the first man to get to the moon, and kept a bunch of business going in order to divert as much money as he could into his moon shot.

    If Musk is actually doing that, and I have wondered about that, then- more power to him.

    He reminds me of several fictional characters.

    This was the first time they attempted to re fly a used booster. No numbers have been confirmed but the rumors are that the client saved 30%.
